Society For Empowerment & Advocacy - SEA
SEA is a Development oriented Non-profit Organisation, working towards the sustainability of Health, Education & Livelihood. The head office is situated at Bharatpur Rajasthan, and has 4 field offices concentrated mostly in the eastern part of the State. It successfully operates through its group of committed volunteers and staff. SEA reaches out to the disadvantaged sections of the society, mostly women, children and youth in general through its well deigned programs.
The most important thing about SEA is that it endeavors to make a difference in the lives of the people. Spreading awareness for the prevention of STD/HIV/AIDS, and thus improving the lives of the people who need it most, is what makes SEA so effective.
SEA works with the most vulnerable families, facilitating economic opportunity, development of agriculture, and natural resources, promoting nutrition, health and population control, small economic activity development and address the underlying causes of poverty. All these efforts are focused towards empowering the community and help them achieve better socio-economic and healthy lives.
SEA's many achievements during the year are due to our partners in development, and to the people who make up SEA, our committed staff everywhere, the volunteers who give so much of their valuable time and the donors who are generous enough to make field visits and also we are accountable to both the donors/funding agencies and to the people we assist, to make sure that the money is used well. Our aim is to maximize the quality and effectiveness of our work.
SEA always looks for the best practices and innovations, though It is a development oriented non-profitable agency, working towards the prevention of STD/HIV/AIDS, reproductive health and developmental issues.
As SEA believes that social problems can be tackled best through the concerted efforts on the part of the people themselves, it works in partnership with local communities
