Do You Want An Online Shopping Mall For Your Non-profit Group?

Would you like to raise money for your organization every time your supporters shop on the Internet? If so, we have a program that gives you that opportunity and maximizes the amount of funds going to your organization. Read further to learn how the program works and to get started in creating your own online shopping mall.

First we want you to consider several important points:
  • If you have a web site of your own, give serious thought to setting up your mall on your own web site. We recommend this because it gives you the greatest control over the stores you use to create your mall and you do not share commissions generated by your shopping supporters with anyone else.
  • If you set up your mall through another web site that offers "charity" malls, you should understand it is probably not "free", no matter what they tell you. Most web sites offering this service may say they are "free". However, they want some part of any commissions you earn from your mall for as long as they host the mall for you. That share may be from 10% to 50% of the commissions generated by your shopping supporters. The more they keep, the less your organization receives.
  • Don't think you need dozens of "stores" in your mall. More may not be better when it comes to online shopping malls. You may be better off providing a select group of "stores" that are most likely to appeal to your shopping supporters or relate to the purpose of your organization.
Our Program:

This is the program we offer you. We are going to tell you exactly what you and we need to do to make it work and what you and we will get out of it.

What We Will Do:

1. We will set up a dedicated mall page on our site. It will be for your group's exclusive use and have an identifiable web address (URL) that you can link to from your own web site and/or publish in your e-mail and/or written literature going to your supporters.

2. We will post links from that page to the stores you want to have included in your mall. You can have a few stores or as many as you want. As we said above, having more stores is not necessarily the right answer in setting up an online mall. Our research indicates that you might be better off limiting the number of stores and concentrate on using ones that tie most closely to your organization's purpose or have the greatest appeal to your supporters.

3. Your dedicated mall page will be linked to your own web site, if you have one, and to your web page at WeCareToo. There will also be a link to our home page as a way for mall visitors to navigate about our site should they choose to do so.

4. We will provide a highlighted link to your mall page on your WeCareToo organization page and on the Alpha and Geographic look-up listings on which your organization appears.

5. We will provide you with ways to link to your mall page from your own web site, if you have one.

What You Will Do:

1. There are hundreds of store owners offering "affiliate" arrangements. Each has an agreement form that sets out what the store owner's and your rights and responsibilities are. Each also has an online registration form that needs to be completed in order to apply to become a member of the program. You will need to decide what stores you want to include in your mall and complete the online registration form for each. You need to do this for the simple reason that the registration form includes information as to who you are, how to contact you, to whom commission checks are to be made payable and to whom they are to be sent.

2. Once you are accepted into a program, you will receive information on how to link to the "store" site and any special coding that needs to be posted in order to accomplish this linking and insure you receive credit for any purchases made by your shoppers. You will forward that information to us so that we can add that store to your mall page.

What We Will Get Out of This Arrangement:

You will pay us a one-time, non-refundable fee of $25 to set up your dedicated mall page on our site. The fee also covers posting links to your mall page for up to five stores. If you want more stores, we can add as many as you want. You will pay us a one-time, non-refundable posting fee of $5 for each additional store. That is all we will ever receive from you.

What Will Your Organization Get Out of This Arrangement:

You will have a dedicated mall page, customized to include just the stores you want. You will directly receive 100% of all commissions generated by your supporters when they shop at your stores. You will not share those commissions with anyone else.

Why We Think Our Program Is Better:

1. The cost is extremely low. It is a one-time only charge.

2. 100% of all commissions will be paid directly to your organization and retained by you for your use.

3. The mall will be on a page dedicated to your organization and directly accessible by your supporters.

4. You will be able to customize the mall to include the stores that your shoppers are most likely to use.

5. You can start small and grow your mall to best meet your needs while not cluttering it with stores not likely to be of any benefit to you or your supporters or selling items not in keeping with your objectives and beliefs.

Why You May Not Like Our Program:

1. You will have to choose the stores you want to include in your mall and register with their programs. This can be done in as little as an hour or two, but could take longer depending on how much time you want to spend choosing what you think are the best stores to include.

2. You will need to pay us our $25 one-time, non-refundable registration fee without any guarantee you will ever generate commissions from the stores you include in your mall. The trade-off is that you will never pay us anything more for as long as you have a mall with us, unless you add more stores, in which case you will pay us a one-time, non-refundable fee of $5 for each additional store. This is a risk you have to evaluate. If the mall is successful, the fee is quite reasonable and maximizes the ongoing benefit to your organization because you never pay us anything more.

What You Need To Do To Use Our Program and Why:

1. Send us a letter stating you want to use our program and include your check for $25 payable to TWT Marketing, Inc. The letter and check should be mailed to:

Upon receipt of your check, we will create your dedicated mall page on our site and send you an e-mail telling you the page is ready and giving you the web address (URL) for the page.

2. Decide on the stores you want to include in your mall and register with them. In registering, you may need the mall page URL. Therefore, do not begin registering until we have provided it to you.

3. Complete the registration process and forward us the linking information you receive from the store owners so that we can add the stores to your mall page.

4. If you decide to have more than 5 stores, complete the registration process for as many stores as you want and send us the linking information as you receive it. You will need to send us another check for $5 for each additional store we add.

5. Promote your mall by telling people it exists and how to find it and linking to it from your own web site, if you have one.

Choosing Stores For Your Mall

How Do These Programs Pay?

There are four basic types of affiliate programs.

"Pay-per-click" programs pay a few cents every time someone clicks on the link you provide and visits the "store" owners site.

"Pay-per-lead" programs pay a one-time fee for every potential customer you direct to the "store" owner who actually completes a purchase. The purchase need not be made on the first visit to the store. The fee earned can be significant as these programs tend to deal with higher priced products or services.

"New Customer Referral" programs pay a one-time fee for each "new" customer you direct to the "store" who makes a purchase during that first visit. The fee earned might be as high as $25 dollars or more. However, it is earned only once and only if a purchase is made on the first visit.

"Commission" programs pay a percentage fee on every purchase made by a customer that uses the link you provide to visit the "store" and make a purchase. Further commissions are earned on subsequent purchases so long as the person uses the link you provide to enter the "store".

Of the four types, we recommend you concentrate on "Commission" programs" for the simple reason that you earn a referral fee on every purchase so long as the shopper uses your link to enter the "store".
